The HCSA Executive Committee is pleased to announce HCSA’s newest Steering Group member, Barry Callebaut Sourcing AG.
Barry Callebaut operates 59 factories worldwide, selling its products to 140 countries and serving the entire food industry, from global and local food manufacturers to artisanal and professional users of chocolate. The Group’s business can be separated into three product groups, namely; food manufacturers products, gourmet and specialties products and cocoa products. Barry Callebaut is implementing the HCS Approach in cocoa origin countries, particularly as a founding signatory of the Cocoa & Forests Initiative, and in the context of other raw materials it sources (e.g. palm oil).
