Il s'agit essentiellement d'une approche visant \u00e0 faciliter la prise de d\u00e9cision collaborative et participative concernant l'utilisation et la conservation des terres dans les paysages tropicaux. L'HCSA stratifie six classes diff\u00e9rentes \u00e0 l'aide d'analyses de donn\u00e9es satellitaires et de mesures au sol. Ces classes sont les suivantes : For\u00eat \u00e0 haute densit\u00e9, For\u00eat \u00e0 densit\u00e9 moyenne, For\u00eat \u00e0 faible densit\u00e9, Jeune for\u00eat en r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, Broussailles et Terrain d\u00e9gag\u00e9\/ouvert. Son objectif est de permettre aux petits exploitants d'\u00e9liminer le risque de d\u00e9forestation de leurs pratiques et d'\u00e9laborer des plans de conservation \u00e0 long terme qui peuvent \u00eatre g\u00e9r\u00e9s et contr\u00f4l\u00e9s. Les conclusions et les donn\u00e9es recueillies dans le cadre de ces essais contribuent \u00e9galement \u00e0 l'\u00e9laboration d'une approche HCSA simplifi\u00e9e \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle mondiale pour les petits exploitants, qui peut \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9e \u00e0 n'importe quel produit de base et utilis\u00e9e dans n'importe quelle r\u00e9gion du monde.<\/p><p>Niveau du paysage \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle <a href=\"https:\/\/highcarbonstock.org\/fr\/mapping-portal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">initiatives de cartographie<\/a> sont men\u00e9es par les membres et les partenaires du HCSA dans des r\u00e9gions tropicales cl\u00e9s. Les cartes sont un outil important pour faciliter la mise en \u0153uvre des approches paysag\u00e8res et juridictionnelles \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle du HCSA et de l'approche des petits exploitants.
